We made a special trip all the way to Ikea in Massachusetts to get the center beam for our bed, which we didn't know we needed back when we bought the bed in April. Ikea said the bed was in 3 boxes, and we bought 3 boxes. But they didn't tell us we needed a crucial beam that was sold separately! So, the first weekend we slept on the mattress on the floor. We're so happy that we were able to set up our room this weekend. Last minute, we decided to buy a shelf and some lights and we installed them way up high on the wall over the bed. Eric enjoyed the electrical work immensely!

| Too bad this picture didn't turn out better - it's kind of hard to see the shelf |
It's hard to get a good picture of the entire bathroom, so here are some shots of some of the details in the room.
| For your towel or your bathrobe while you're in the shower |
| Hand towel rack next to the sink |
| New door next to shower curtain |
| Mom gave us this - from Ikea - makes a good night light for the boys |
| We left these very '80s lights, because the lighting is very bright. Hope we can find replacement bulbs! |
| We put up a medicine cabinet since there is very little storage in here |
A few other pictures from our weekend...
| The big, beautiful chime Mom gave us - Alex says it sounds like a church bell |
| A bench that fits right in - I think Mom brought this all the way from South Dakota |
| She also got us a very big flag, which looks very nice on the deck facing the water |
| We were very surprised and excited to see four dolphins right in front of the house! |
| Mom enjoyed her first overnight visit, and Eleanor came up for the day (no picture, sorry Eleanor!) |
So nice guys! Adorbs all the way around! It looks very nice and crisp!
