We spent Easter weekend removing about 500 nails, screws and hooks from the walls. We took down lots of bookshelves (some will be put back up after painting). We now have a lot of spackling to do! We met with a contractor and arranged to have the teal carpet removed from the living room, bedrooms, hallway AND bathroom. It will take about 7 weeks, but then we will have a beautiful rustic red oak wood floor.
