Hi all! I'm starting this new blog to document the new cottage as it makes its transformation into our own special place to escape, and hopefully a place all of you will feel comfortable too!
The house is a mile or two outside of Tenant's Harbor, Maine, which is a town within the "official" town of Saint George, Maine. It is on the Saint George River - a tidal river that flows out to open ocean about 5 miles further south. The river forms a cove here called Otis Cove.
It is exactly two hours from our home in Scarborough to the cottage, and exactly four hours from Boston.
