Painting progress

Enjoyed a beautiful, sunny drive up to Otis Point again today.  Eric rocked out the mowing and trimming, we had a picnic and admired the newly painted walls in the bedrooms and bathroom, then we headed straight back home - very sad and frustrated not to be able to move in yet.  But the end of the month is getting closer and closer...

Another nice day for a picnic

The paint colors don't come out exactly right on the camera - this is a very light beach-y blue in the bathroom.

Eric's room color matches the vine leaves outside!  (We're only painting one wall in each room a color - the other walls will be cream)

Alex's room has the same green

Our room was only partly done - the red looks very red in the picture, but it's really "Aztec Brick", not bright red.  The three bedroom windows will be replaced soon with regular long rectangular ones.

Just like being in a boat, but without the rocking!

  2. Looks great! (I thought it was only 2 bedrooms). Like the ceiling light in Alex's room.

  3. Well, it is only two, but there was a big walk in closet with a window and a big built in dresser. We removed the dresser and it's big enough for a twin bed with about 1 1/2 ft to spare on the side of the bed. Good enough for sleeping though!
